The Chicago Region SCCA held our first fall membership gathering on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the WeatherTech Factory Store. The event was open to members and non-members alike and it was held in the beautiful WeatherTech employee lunch room in the building next door to the Factory Store.

The Chicago Region SCCA was again for the second year a featured group in the Geneva Concours d’Elegance an event celebrating the “Art of the Automobile”.

On Saturday May 18th the Chicago Region had organized a special event just for members of the Sports Car Club of America and their guests to view a collection of privately owned vehicles.

I belong to several clubs and no surprise to anyone, they’re all car and motorsports-related. Each has its own distinct activities, members and its own feel (or vibe if you’re from the ’70s like me).
Come join SCCA Chicago Region on Saturday, March 23, at 1 p.m. for an exciting and informative gathering to learn more about a competitive team in a very competitive race series.
The Checkered Flag Party celebrated the past year as it welcomed in the next. One-hundred and forty people joined the festivities at Ferrari Lake Forest.

The Chicago Region SCCA invites you to join us on Saturday March 23rd at Blackdog Speed Shop, 600 Barclay Blvd., Lincolnshire, IL. Ray Sorenson; Vice-President and Race Team Manager will share some stories and information about the team and the Pirelli World Challenge as the Blackdog Racing Team enters their 2019 race season.
