Chicago Region’s first Time Trials event run under the new SCCA Time Trials ruleset took place on the Saturday of the Fall Sprints Divisional race weekend.

Big Grins on Autobahn FULL Circuit Track Event
Our third evening track event took place on the full circuit at Autobahn Country Club. This is the second time we have run this configuration where the North and South circuits are connected together to create a 19 turn, 3.56 mile track.

Friday, June 1st was our second evening Track Day event of 2018. 46 cars took to the pavement on the South course at Autobahn Country Club — with a few taking to the grass — oops!

What did you do last weekend? How about the weekend before that? I just returned from the Indy 500, an annual tradition for myself and a group of friends that extends back to 1984. Several of these friends I see only at the Indy 500, yet when we do get together it’s like it was just yesterday.
