We recently completed another Street Survival event. Huge thanks to everyone that coached or helped run the event. We couldn’t do it without you.

You can only a make first impression once, let’s make it a great one. You and the new members are the future of this club.

August 26th was the Geneva Concours. I wanted to thank everyone that helped and participated in a great event. Peg and Claire Ball were a huge help and Steve Laske did a fantastic job! The participants were awesome.

August is upon us and we still have a lot of events for 2018. The Chicago Region is participating in the Geneva Concours d’Elegance.

I attended my first June Sprints® as RE. Wow, what an experience. I truly appreciate all the hard work from our volunteers.

In road racing, few events can match the history and tradition of the June Sprints® at Road America. Consider that when the first June Sprints® race was held at Road America in 1956, other iconic American race tracks, including Watkins Glen (completed in 1956), Laguna Seca (1957), Riverside (1957), Daytona (1959), and Mid-Ohio (1962) did not yet even exist.

Hello Everyone, let the race season begin. Isn’t it great to see all your race friends again? The fact that we are race fans and not employees does not stop us from being extremely professional, dedicated, capable, an example for many other regions. (Incredibly humble for a bunch of volunteers) Chicago SCCA is a great region for many reasons, but I love it because of the people.

Hello everyone, hopefully you have accomplished what you needed to prepare for the 2018 race season or at least you are very close. Now is the time when your work will pay off. Now is the time to have fun with cars. Now is the time to enjoy!

Hello everyone, spring is just around the corner. Now is the time we are finalizing our schedules, our budgets and our plan for a successful 2018. The old saying “Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance” is very appropriate for this time of year.
