Wheels Rallye Team presents its opening 2019 event. This is a gimmick road rally, designed to help newcomers learn about the activity with a step by step approach. Lots of fun. We give you 8 simple rules, then test those rules on you on a real rally course, explaining them as you drive along. Then the last part of the rally is we let you go on your own and see what you can do with the same rules gimmicks and/or variations. It’s a great adventure and a learning experience as well. Perfect for newcomers. No high speed driving or dark hidden signs, just a great start to a new rally season.

The event starts at Woodfield Mall Parking Lot, in Schaumburg, at light pole D2 which is just west of the Bank of America Building. Registration is open from 6pm to 7:15 pm. Cars are off at 7:15. A 6:45 Rallye School will be held prior to cars leaving, if you are new, this is perfect for you. Any kind of vehicle is reasonable to use, fill it up, we are only charging you $10 per vehicle. A great bargain. 
The event ends at Garibaldi’s in Hoffman Estates where results and trophies will be given out. Remember we run 5 classes of competition including Best First Timer. You need no special equipment on this event, nor do you need a long rally history. Veteran rallyists will find the competition up to standards for them, as well, and we cordially invite you to participate in the event. This event is cosponsored by the Chicago Region of SCCA, the first in a combined venture. If you like a challenge and a fun thing to do on a Saturday night, this is for you.

If you want to preregister for this event call Dennis at 947-975-2075. Preregisters will receive a copy of the rules Saturday April 13, about five hours prior to the rally. A big help.
