2014 Race & Performance Expo

The Chicago Region had a booth at the Race & Performance Expo in St. Charles on Feb. 22-23 to introduce show-goers to all the SCCA and Chicago Region have to offer. The booth, staffed by Chicago Region volunteers including Bill Crawford, Dennis and Patrick Morgan, Scott Sanda, Todd Gray, Dave Vacarro, Ed Midgley, Chris Gregor, Bob Stone, Tracy Ramsey, Bob Lindsay and others featured Ed Midgley’s beautiful Formula F car as well as video showing Solo, PDX and Club Racing action.

Interest from the show attendees was high, with quite a few people asking questions and leaving their contact information for follow-up. Brochures and flyers touting the Solo, PDX and Club Racing programs were available and many attendees walked away with information on the SCCA and how to join the Chicago Region.

All the SCCA members staffing the booth agreed the show was a success and had a great time talking to such interested “car people”.
