December 2019 Remarks

Hello Everyone,

It has been an honor and a pleasure to serve as your Regional Executive. If you were not aware, the Chicago Region Board has term limits and my time is up. You are the best members of a region that has thrived for over 70 years and I am proud to say that I have been a part of it.

We have many successes due to the hard work and support of you and the cooperation of the other local regions. I am not leaving racing world and will be at many events in 2020. I hope to see you at the Solo Banquet, Checkered Flag Dinner, Race and Performance Expo and many other events.

Any of you can still bring ideas, concerns or compliments to me; I will still know some people that I could facilitate their implementation, correction or congratulations. 

I would like to introduce the new Regional Executive, Erik Vandermey. He is an active racer, board member, participant, worker and a long-time friend and colleague and I am very happy for him and truly believe he will be an excellent leader. I still love the smell of new Hoosiers!
