EFR named Grand Marshall of the 2020 Chicago Region SCCA June Sprints®
Elliott Forbes-Robinson has been named Grand Marshall for the running of the WeatherTech® 2020 Chicago Region SCCA June Sprints® at Road America®. Forbes-Robinson began racing in the SCCA in 1968 and is a three time Sports Car Club of America National Road Racing Champion. In 1976 he won 2 road racing championships, one in C- Production driving a Datsun (Nissan) 280Z and the other in B – Sedan driving a Datsun (Nissan) 610. He won his third SCCA National Championship in 1978 driving an A – Production Corvette.
EFR also competed in the SCCA Can-Am and F-5000 series and won the Trans-Am Championship in 1982. His racing career has led to many other wins and championships with other sanctioning bodies and in 2006 he was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America.
