Piston Patter is intended to both inform and entertain the membership of Chicago Region. Each issue includes a column from the club’s Regional Executive and information and schedules for upcoming events. The magazine also offers reports on the various activities of the club and its members, event results, and other Region news, as well as features of general interest to motorsports enthusiasts, such as car setup and driving tips, profiles of interesting personalities, reports on various motorsports or auto-related activities, and more. Piston Patter also provides contact information for key Region personnel, and a classified ads section, which is available free of charge to Chicago Region members.
Piston Patter is an all-volunteer effort. All the words, pictures, and artwork in the magazine are provided by Region members. We are always looking for new ideas and contributions, so if you have ideas to suggest, or are interested in contributing something, please contact the editor at pistonpatter@scca-chicago.com, or at the phone number shown at the bottom of this page.
