The weather could not have been better. When I arrived at 1:30 there were already a lot of activities going at the autobahn with member going out on the south course and the BMW owners fighting cones in the slalom course set up in the paddock. When the PDX group started to arrive they found their way to the Tech line with no problems and eagerly lined up to get their ride approved for track worthiness. I helped out in Tech so we were able to open two tech lines which really helped to speed our folks through the process. The North course was the objective for the afternoon and many had not run there before. I moved over to start / Black Flag and we started the “Station Wagon” laps so that everyone could get their bearings around the course. In some cases a close look at the grass and guardrail was part of the review. All and all each group had four sessions on track and we ran right up until sunset which was a beautiful end to a great evening of enjoying our cars with our friends.
