60th Running of the June Sprints!
Posted April 9, 2015
Registration Open! Registration is now open for the 60th running of the June Sprints!
For the 60th time, great SCCA racers and volunteers will come to historic Road America for a weekend of competition and camaraderie at the Chicago Region June Sprints® – and you’re invited!
The Chicago Region June Sprints is the longest consecutively held road racing event in the United States. Racing superstars Carroll Shelby, Carl Haas, Roger Penske and Bobby Rahal, among many others, are past competitors. Now you have a chance to take your place in SCCA history. So mark your calendar and start making plans to be at Elkhart Lake, Wis., June 12-14, for this SCCA Majors race.
The organizing team has been hard at work to ensure that the 60th June Sprints will be memorable for drivers, crews, volunteers, officials and spectators. All competitors and volunteers will receive a commemorative event poster and T-shirt bearing specially commissioned artwork by Randy Owens. The Chicago Region will host dinners both Friday and Saturday nights for volunteers, racers and crews. Historic race cars will be on display, and our Grand Marshal David Hobbs will be on hand to meet attendees and share stories.
