2015 Race & Performance Expo

Chicago Region at the Race & Performance Expo is quickly becoming a tradition! Once again the region staffed a booth, which was both bigger and better than last year!

Seventeen region members helped in the setup and staffing of the 20′ x 20′ booth, displaying two cars that portray the spirit of SCCA. Daniel Bender’s Runoff winning T4 Mazda MZR provided by Advanced Autosports graced one side of the booth, while the TRO Racing Spec Racer Ford of Michael Pesch was displayed on the other side.

This event introduces a crowd of performance minded people to the opportunities to compete and have fun in the SCCA. While many of the attendees typically look to go fast in a straight line, or go fast and turn left, there appeared to be quite a bit of interest in turning right as well! 2015 Region brochures, PDX brochures, Road America schedule flyers and magnets were made available, and the show was considered to continue the string of success at this venue.
