November 2019 Remarks

Hello Everyone, 

The 2019 racing season is over and 2019 is almost over. I hope everyone has had a good year or at least a not so bad one. As a region, we are looking forward to a great 2020 and have already begun our planning and scheduling. 

  • The SCCA Championships are coming to Road America next year and will provide a lot of excitement and extra interest in our region events.
  • The Track Days and Autocross should have full schedule of events and are going to build on their past success. 
  • We will continue to have other events like the Checkered Flag dinner, the Geneva car show, Street Survival and road rally’s.

I would love to take credit for orchestrating all of the things we accomplished but that would be far from the truth. We have a host of volunteers that step up and make these great events happen. I thank them for everything and truly appreciate their hard work. They make me and the Chicago Region look fantastic. (ok the Region looks fantastic, I look better)
