Chicago Region Director Bob Stone, facilitated an agreement with American Honda Motors to provide this opportunity for one lucky club member to be a passenger in the Indy Racing Experience two seat Indy car. Being a passenger in the two seater Indy car, on a one lap ride of Road America will be something you will never forget. This will be the one bench racing story that will be hard to beat.
A list of contestants will be generated from MSR registration records from the five qualifying events. Each day of participation in one of the qualifying events will equate to a chance to win the ride. The more days of participation provides additional chances to win. The drawing will be a random selection using a computer based program. The winner will be announced on Sunday June 18, 2017 at the Chicago Region June SprintsĀ®. If possible the Region will notify the winner at the June Sprints, if not notification will take place soon after the race weekend. The Region will need conformation from the winner that they will participate. Should you not be available to participate in the ride the opportunity is not transferable and the Region will pull another name from the list.
If you are working the IndyCar event your schedule and assignment will be adjusted to ensure you are available for the ride. If you are not working the event, provisions for your admission to the event will be arranged.
The Chicago Region SCCA, would like to express their sincere thanks to American Honda Motors for this generous opportunity and Indy Racing Experience for making this happen for our club member volunteer staff.
