Governor’s Cup Awarded at 57th Chicago Region SCCA June Sprints

Former Chicago Region Regional Executive and current member George Kendall and his wife Mary Ann were honored at this year’s Chicago Region SCCA June Sprints by the presentation of the Governor’s Cup.  The cup was presented by George Bruggenthies, President and General Manager of Road America, as an emissary of the Governor of Wisconsin.  This award is presented to individuals or organizations who have been instrumental in the advancement of sports car racing.  George and Mary Ann were very worthy recipients, devoting themselves to sports car racing and the SCCA for many years.  Without the Kendalls, many of our events (including many June Sprints) would not have taken place or not have excelled.
