A visit with Ray Sorensen, Blackdog Racing Team Manager
The Chicago Region SCCA invites you to join us on Saturday March 23rd at Blackdog Speed Shop, 600 Barclay Blvd., Lincolnshire, IL. Ray Sorenson; Vice-President and Race Team Manager will share some stories and information about the team and the Pirelli World Challenge as the Blackdog Racing Team enters their 2019 race season.
Blackdog Racing Team Chevy Camaro GT4.R, are four time Pirelli World Challenge GTS Champions, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017. Founded in 2002, Blackdog Racing began competing with Chevrolet Corvettes simultaneously in SCCA T1 and World Challenge. Tony Gaples, President and Team Principal and team driver in his own rite had a vision. Years of hard work have paid off as he and Ray built a very successful race team. Ray will talk about the shop activities, shop racing history, past racing programs and the ZL1 Camaros GT4.R race cars.
Come join us Saturday March 23, 2019 at 1pm for an exciting and informative gathering to learn more about a competitive team in a very competitive race series.
Registration in MotorsportReg (MSR) will be open near the end of February, just so we know how many people will be joining us. So plan an afternoon with Blackdog Racing and watch for registration to open on MSR.
