The month of August was HOT, but the weather gods shined down on us on the fourth weekend of August 2023 which was a busy weekend for the Chicago Region and the weather was great!Ā Saturday and Sunday saw the running of the Kettle Moraine Divisional Road Race at Road America.Ā Also on Sunday the Region conducted its fourth āConcours for Sports Carsā as a featured group in the 2023 Geneva Concours dāElegance.Ā
As part of the Chicago Region SCCA 75th anniversary celebration on October 21st the Chicago Region will be running another G.O.A.T.S. (Get Out and Tour Series) event. Ā Join us this fall as the colors are changing for another drive through southern Wisconsin to Elkhart Lake on some of the most scenic backroads there are to enjoy.Ā

As a throwback to the 1990ās when the Chicago Region held a photo contest, the Activities Committee has established a photo contest as a vehicle to record the Chicago Regionās 75th anniversary year with photographs.
Jonathan Laun, the former Chairman of the Board at Road America, was honored with the Governorās Cup at the WeatherTech Chicago Region SCCA June Sprints
In honor of the Regionās 75th anniversary, the Activities Committee is holding a photo contest to celebrate our members, events and love of cars and to document this year for the future.
