The Fall Sprints at Blackhawk Farms on September 8 and 9 was a great success.
What possesses someone to travel 1000 miles round trip to race for 6 minutes? I have asked myself this question for several years. In fact, I had registered and cancelled two years ago because the answer to this question wasn’t urgent enough to expend the time and energy to find out the answer.

Chicago Region’s first Time Trials event run under the new SCCA Time Trials ruleset took place on the Saturday of the Fall Sprints Divisional race weekend.
Marketing is the unsung, unrecognized yet vitally important cog in the presentation of events.
Street Survival schools are for teen drivers to learn car control. They help them learn how to make good driving decisions and react quickly. The format allows these young drivers to experience and practice different maneuvers they most likely have never experienced.

The Geneva Concours d’Elegance is a first class event, the premier automobile concours in the Chicago area, now with a 14 year history. The concours is a celebration of the “Art of the Automobile” and a benefactor for the Living Well Cancer Resource Center, in Geneva, Illinois.

August 26th was the Geneva Concours. I wanted to thank everyone that helped and participated in a great event. Peg and Claire Ball were a huge help and Steve Laske did a fantastic job! The participants were awesome.

The route for the tour is approximately a one hundred and forty five mile drive (about three to three and a half hours) providing scenic roads with plenty of turns and elevation changes.
