Hello everyone, spring is just around the corner. Now is the time we are finalizing our schedules, our budgets and our plan for a successful 2018. The old saying “Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance” is very appropriate for this time of year.
The route covers approximately 150 miles with intermediate stops at a cheese factory and a winery. The tour will end at The Firehouse Pub in Roscoe, Ill., where you can have a drink, share some stories, and spend time with friends over a pleasant mid-afternoon lunch from the restaurant’s varied menu.
On February 24th and 25th, 2018, the Chicago Region staffed a booth at the Race & Performance Expo to promote our sport and club activities. Our booth was staffed with volunteers who spent some of their time talking with people about the SCCA, Chicago Region, and the opportunities we offer to get involved with motorsports.
On February 17, the Region kicked off our 2018 season with another great party at Lake Forest Sportscars. We celebrated achievements of Region Members in 2017 and acknowleged the beginning of our MILESTONE 70TH YEAR as a Region.
